This Vintage Heuer Monza Ref:150.501 PVD is rated 9.7 out of 10. Watch only.
This watch dates to circa 1982, being identified by the following specification:-
After 1981 the name ‘Monza’ had disappeared from the dial (remaining on the case-back) and the case has now been upgraded to the PVD-coated (Carrera-based) stainless steel case as well as now housing the actual Cal.12 movement. It is also now distinguished by the red hash marks that sit behind the hour markers. This upgraded version of the Monza was produced by Heuer until the TAG take-over in 1985.
The case measures a respectable 38mm width (excl crown & pushers) x 42mm lug-to-lug. Its original steel case with PVD coating is in excellent condition considering its age and the original dial is outstanding, with a lovely warm cream patina to the hour markers.
This watch has its original ‘Heuer’signed crown and matching steel pushers and screw-down steel caseback with Monza Heuer logo, reference number: 150.501
