The concept was introduced in Baselworld 2010. Two years later in Baselworld 2012, three breathtaking versions finally surfaced: Korona K0, Korona K0 Two-Tone and Korona K0 DLC Black. Every Sarpaneva Korona K0 is handcrafted at Sarpaneva’s workshop in Helsinki. As a very limited edition, every Korona K0 is counted as one of the few.The case in stainless steel , measures 46mm x 11.2mm. It has a 2.5mm AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 300 meters. The dial is DLC coated stainless steel with Superluminova indeces, hands are Rhodium plated with Superluminova.Movement is a modified Swiss automatic Soprod A10 caliber with 25 jewels, 28,800vph and with a power reserve of 42 hours. It is rhodium-plated and features Perlage finishing.
The movement’s mainplate is modified to incorporate the diver’s timer ring. The timer ring (uni-directional) is manually adjustable by the first crown position.All Sarpaneva watches are designed and handcrafted by Stepan Sarpaneva himself.
